Price Configuring
Configure Day Pricing Plans
There are two ways to charge for inventory: daily and hourly. Here, we’re talking about daily pricing, where you pay for each day (24 hours) you book a product.
Configure Hourly Pricing Plans
Our Marketplace supports an hourly pricing system if customers want to book for less than one day. However, from the Vendor Dashboard of the Dashboard settings, you must unselect single-day booking (if it has already been selected).
There are two types of hourly pricing plans available.
- General Hourly Pricing
- Hourly Range Pricing
1. General Hourly Pricing:
In the example below, the hourly price is set to 2, which will be the cost per hour.
2. Hourly Range Pricing:
In the example below, hourly range pricing has been configured. The cost for hours 1-7 is 50 (Fixed), while hours 8-24 are priced at 45. This means that if someone books the product within the 1-7 hour range, the cost of 50 will be applied once, as it is set as a fixed rate. Conversely, the pricing plan for 8-24 hours will be used on a per-hour basis, as it is designated as applicable per day.
Availability
This functionality allows you to restrict bookings during specific periods by blocking dates. For instance, if your inventory is out of stock or you need to prevent bookings from February 5, 2024, at 00:00 to February 10, 2024, at 00, you can use the Availability Management feature to turn off bookings for that particular date range. See the screenshot below for a clearer understanding.
You’ll notice that booking is disabled from February 5, 2024, to February 9, 2024. This is because we blocked the inventory from the Vendor Dashboard; even though February 10 was included, the booking cutoff was set at 00:00 that day, effectively ending bookings on February 9.

Locations
- Location is where services are offered; there are different ways to define location based on listing, either rental or booking. For rental, there is a Pickup Location and Drop-off location in the inventory post-type taxonomies, and the Agent ( Vendor) can also add pickup and drop-off costs.
FYI: The location name will show in the front end of the customer in the drop-down on the listing page, and the description text-area field value will show in the cart, checkout, order, and email pages.
