Dashrite Marketplace products have two types of data: attributes and variations. Attributes are product details that don’t change, such as size, color, or material. Variations are the product details that can change, such as price or stock level. Attributes are used to create variations.

Vendors must always define product attributes to help customers search or navigate what they are looking for more quickly; on Dashrite Marketplace, you can select preconfigured attributes to help describe your product.

NOTE: Not all attributes available will be suitable for all products, and vendors must use appropriate attributes for each product.

Example: If you are listing women’s or men’s clothing and need to provide the product attribute for size, you would click on the down arrow next to the size and search for the size or provide one if you do not find it in the search.
