Account Profile & Password Reset
Account Profile
Your main profile is essential to using any Dashship platform, and you can not remove it without deleting your account.
This profile represents you/your company on our platform and allows you to share information about yourself/company (for instance, your photos, current city, and other information). It’s also where you’ll:
- Use the name you use in everyday life or your legal company name.
- Access Pages that you manage as an admin.
- Manage your account settings such as:
- Account information: This includes your contact information, language preferences, payment information, and other general information about your account.
- Security: Login information and websites connected to your account.
- NOTE: Delete or deactivate your Dashship account. Doing so will also delete or deactivate all profiles managed by that account.
Account Password Reset
If you’re having trouble with your password, you can reset it.
Make a strong Account Password.
When you create a new password, remember:
- Your password should be easy to remember but hard for others to guess.
- Longer passwords are usually more secure.
- Your Dashship password should be unique from the passwords you use to access other Dashrite platform accounts, such as your email or accounts.
- Your password should not be your email, phone number, or birthday.
- Avoid using common words like “Password”.
- Use a password manager. Many different applications can store your passwords securely.
- Don’t share your passwords with anyone, online or in person. If you do, change them as soon as possible.
- Use upper and lowercase letters and other characters in your password. Make it longer with a phrase or words only you know.
